As you can see Smoky Mountain Pottery makes a wide variety of unique pottery. All of our
pottery is hand made in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the "Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community".
Our 4000 square foot studio/showroom is open year round for visitors and shoppers. We make
something for everyone.
Functional Pottery: We make a wide variety of functional pottery. It is fired in a gas kiln to 2300 degrees F and is
dishwasher safe, micro-wave safe and oven safe. We offer a multitude of glaze combinations to suit your taste. All glazes are
lead free.
Custom Pottery: We make lots of custom pieces to order. We are best known for one of a kind carved vases or luminaries
with trees and flowers carved into the hand thrown pot.
Breed Bones: These guys are funny. We make Breed Bones for over 150 different dog breeds from Labrador Retriever to
Chinese Crested. If you have more than one Great Dane we will make a Breed Bone that says "Spoiled Rotten Great Danes
Live Here".
